Group says Sen. Harkin wrong on salt An association that represents salt producers says a recent bill by Sen. Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) calling for mandatory limits on sodium content "threatens to endanger the public's health." The Healthy Lifestyles and Prevention America Act would require the Food and Drug Administration to establish limits on salts in processed and restaurant foods.
